 Rīgas Ekonomikas Augstskolas Absolventu Asociācija is the official alumni association of Stockholm School of Economics in Riga (SSE Riga) and it is a non-governmental and non-profit organization. Organization’s key activities include organizing networking events for SSE Riga community, maintaining alumni international chapters, representing the alumni community on SSE Riga Foundation Board, as well as organizing alumni fundraising campaigns.

Organization offers all Stockholm School of Economics in Riga Alumni to become members of the association. The membership status is granted to those Alumni that voluntarily become “Contributing Members” of the alumni association by regularly contributing financial resources to the organization.

There are two types of payment that can be made directly from Rīgas Ekonomikas Augstskolas Absolventu Asociācija:

1. Subscription payment

2. One-off payment

When you register for the membership online, you consent to get access to all benefits that Contributing Members are entitled to immediately.

You may change your mind for any or no reason and receive a full refund of all monies paid within fourteen (14) days starting from the day you sign-up for the relevant service (the “Cooling-off Period”). Refunds will not, however, be provided if you have accessed your account at alumni.sseriga.edu at any time during the Cooling-off Period.

Subscription payment

Subscription payment is a monthly, annual or lifetime fee and can be obtained though https://alumni.sseriga.edu/contributing-member/

If you have chosen subscription (Monthly, Annual, Lifetime), the payment will automatically terminate when your card used for the Subscription becomes invalid.

Your payment to Rīgas Ekonomikas Augstskolas Absolventu Asociācija will automatically renew at the end of the subscription period (one month or one year), depending on which program you selected at the time of subscription (unless you decide to Unsubscribe).

One-off payment

One-off payment gives you access to the Membership for a specific time period.

If you have chose One-Off Payment, your membership will automatically terminate at the end of the period, or when there is an insufficient balance to pay or when the payment card used for payments becomes invalid.

Rīgas Ekonomikas Augstskolas Absolventu Asociācija may change the price for the Subscriptions or One Off Payments (for periods not yet paid for) from time to time, and will communicate any price changes to you in advance and, if applicable, how to accept those changes. Price changes for Subscriptions will take effect at the start of the next subscription period following the date of the price change.

If you do not agree with the price changes, you have the right to reject the change by Unsubscribing from Rīgas Ekonomikas Augstskolas Absolventu Asociācija prior to the price change going into effect.

Please therefore make sure you read any such notification of price changes carefully.

In case you wish to change the payment card used for the regular Subscription payments (for example, in case the credit card has expired or become invalid for other reasons), you can do so through your SSE Riga Alumni Database account.

In case you wish to cancel your Subscription, you can do so:

• By accessing your SSE Riga Alumni Database account

• By contacting Rīgas Ekonomikas Augstskolas Absolventu Asociācija at alumni@alumni.lv

The cancellation will take effect the day after the last day of the current subscription period. However, if you cancel your payment or Subscription (1) after you have accessed your alumni.sseriga.edu account during the Cooling-off Period, or (2) after the Cooling-off Period is over (where applicable), we will not refund any subscription fees already paid to us.
